Refund & Returns Policy

This Refund & Returns Policy explains how returns, refunds, and cancellations are handled for orders placed with Helix BioSolutions, operated by Helix Biosciences Solutions Inc. (“Helix BioSolutions”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By placing an order through helixbiosolutions.com (the “Site”), you agree to the terms set out below.

1. How to Start a Return

To start a return, first contact us at support@helixbiosolutions.com with:

  • your order number, and
  • the reason for the return.

Please do not ship any item back before contacting us and receiving return instructions. Returns sent without prior authorization may not be processed.

2. Refund Processing

Once your returned item is received and inspected, an approved refund is issued to your original payment method (PayPal or Zelle) within 5–10 business days. Depending on your payment provider, it may take additional time for the refunded amount to appear in your account.

3. Order Cancellations by Helix BioSolutions

We may refuse, cancel, or limit any order — including where a product is unavailable, where there is a pricing or description error, or where we suspect the order violates our Terms and Conditions (including the research-use restriction). If we cancel an order after payment has been made, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method.

4. Research-Use Products

All products are supplied strictly for laboratory and scientific research use only. Because these are sensitive research materials, product stability and integrity depend on correct handling and storage after delivery. You are responsible for the correct handling, storage, and disposal of products after delivery, and Helix BioSolutions is not responsible for issues arising from handling after delivery.
